We have a rural setting giving us plenty of inspiration for our designs and the designs of those taking part in our workshops.
Many people ask “why felting?” and my answer would have to be two-fold:
I love being able to turn a ball of fluff into something beautiful or practical and, 
because I am a scientist at heart it probably explains why felting fascinates me so much. How such a simple combination of heat, water, soap and friction can produce such interesting results. Since having a space of my own I have pursued many different forms of craft- I have painted silks, glass, made silver jewellery and hand crafted cards. I love making felt and crafting with it. You never get two identical outcomes when working this medium. I think everyone should try felting at least once……I guarantee you will be curious if not hooked!
